Kaleidoscope Gift-Wrap and Keijzer Papier are joining forces

Starting from 20 November, Keijzer Papier from Wormerveer, The Netherlands and Kaleidoscope Gift-Wrap from Almelo, The Netherlands (https://kaleidoscope.nl/) have joined forces. The business group is specialised in gift-wrapping and packaging solutions.

By joining forces, they will strengthen the production, distribution and service of both companies, and create a leading group in this market. The merger allows the group to supply a much larger assortment of gift wrapping products. Both collections together provide a wide selection and a more distinctive capability in the market.

The pooling of designs, service and knowledge of production, purchasing and distribution will help both Kaleidoscope and Keijzer Papier to grow and to be able to fulfil customer desires quicker and better.

Marlon Timmerhuis-Kemper from Kaleidoscope says: “it makes me super excited to know that we will now be able to serve our customers with even more flexibility and in a much broader field. The joining of these two companies means that on the one hand, we can realize commercial and technological synergies, and on the other hand our position in the Dutch, Belgian and German markets of luxury gift wrapping and packaging is even stronger.”

“Keijzer Papier, which exists for 175 years, and Kaleidoscope are true family businesses, with the associated culture and strategies, which is the reason behind the partnership with Kaleidoscope. It is a logical choice to strengthen the market position of both companies,” says Kim Keijzer-Nieboer.

The merger of our companies guarantees our long-term vision and thus our continuity.

The expansion of the machine park and the product assortment means that from now on, the business contacts from Keijzer Papier and Kaleidoscope can be serviced even quicker and better.

Pallas X Holding holds the shares of Kaleidoscope and Keijzer Papier, together with Marlon Timmerhuis-Kemper. For Pallas X Holding, the Bunschoten holding company founded by Louis Ploegmakers and Floris van Woerkom, the cooperation is the logical next step: “Keijzer Papier, founded in 1846, has a unique collection with unique designs that are completely complementary to those of Kaleidoscope.” “We are excited to work with Kim and Marlon,” says Louis Ploegmakers.

Pallas X Holding was advised by DVAN Advocaten and Hans Bredewoud from Incorpe Corporate Finance. Keijzer Papier by Marktlink Mergers and Acquisitions.

The companies will continue to operate from their own offices, in which joined commercial activities will be aligned to each other.
